Hey people,

I've just started watching The Big Bang theory, as my fiance like's it, It's quite funny particularly the tech references, Like having Woz on it. What do you think?

Liar, you don't have a finacee. Nobody that has over 1500 posts within a month has any type of social life, especially a significant other.
 
I watched the first 3 seasons but I never thought it was that funny so I just stopped wasting my time with it.

That's fair enough, why did you watch all three of those series if you never thought it was funny? you must have liked it abit?

I agree, I don't like the laughter track, but I like the union of american sitcom comedy and the nods to geek culture. Like I just noticed that in the episode where Sheldon has to go to jail for a car infraction the Judges name is Jack Kirby... Clever.

Edit: have you guys noticed any bits like that? Also if you like TBBT then you'll probably like the IT crowd.

Yeah a little bit. Plus some of the "geek" references are pretty mediocre, like Sheldon is supposed to be a huge geek and he has ubuntu in his machine? fail!

How about doing a search? This show has been covered in this forum multiple times.

With that being said, the show is AWFUL. It is seriously one of the worst shows I've ever seen. I don't understand how it stays on the air.

I have to say I did notice and that I was just not impressed by the researchers.
