Anyone else check out the pilot for this show by the X-Files guy? I thought the acting was kind of meh, and had a real Stephen King vibe, and it actually was starting to remind me of Revolution...until the last 60 seconds or so when it took a completely different turn. I'm at least intrigued to continue watching.
 
Reporting back. It sucks. Idk, Amazon...maybe you need to call Netflix and borrow some of the writers for their original shows.
 
I thought it was fine until the last scene. I ended up watching the Bosch pilot as well. Out of those two, I would rather watch Bosch, but also kinda curious what the event was in The After. But the chosen ones/demon thing really killed the show for me. Its too bad, because I generally like Chris Carter's stuff.
