I must say she pretty much gave putin a stage to make America look like idiots. His answers are typical of the kind of responses you'd get from some of the righties on this forum.

The most notable exchange happened when megyn questioned putin about Russia hacking the election. Of course putin can't just come out and say they did it but then he turned on her and played dumb. Demanding to know what proof we had, knowing full well that that information is not available because it would be giving away what type of tools or what we look for. He then tried to play it off as if this type of hacking could be accomplished by a child. I especially liked how he used one example of a verified, as in truthful, leak and then jumped to the conclusion that therefore all the leaks were truthful, as if he has no idea how propaganda and disinformation works.

How long until Fox, alt-right propaganda 'news' websites and fanatical Trump supporters use Putin's statements as proof the hacking never happened ?

Putin looks chubby. He is just trolling us with these interviews. He even basically admitted in another interview that "patriotic Russian citizens" might have been involved, but then backtracked when confronted.

The room is chuckling during his rebuttals ... I dont know, that sounded alot like confession to me.
I think we are approaching the next level here, the "Stage-3 Putin : The bragging". Now he is laughing in your face and taking he international stage while doing it. You are getting f*ed on open camera by proxy, the proxy being Trump of course.
Lube up.

Very much so, yes. I think he is taunting us (Americans)

I get the feeling Putin never had any good plans for what to do should his schemes succeed and Trump win. I really think that the Russians did not exercise due diligence in their assessments of Trump's viability as a stooge. He is literally too stupid to be manipulated successfully. So at this point, all Putin can do is laugh... because although the US is completely paralyzed by this idiot leader, it is not actually under his control.

I did not get the feeling, personally, that Putin is taunting, laughing, or demeaning Americans or President Trump in any way. He acted essentially the same way (if you watched any of the footage at the time) during the time President Obama was in office.

I did, however, get the very strong feeling that he is both making fun of and becoming frustrated with the Western Press. This is far more typical of current Russian politicians and old Communist/Socialist apparatchiks. In fact, he fits perfectly into this mold and stereotype.

Let's face it, he is simply not used to press that is not under a minimum of government control - a "free press". He is also not used to the large percentage of (for lack of a better word) morons that consider themselves journalists.

President Trump is not an "idiot" any more than President Obama was. It just depends on with whom you are speaking and what their biased (if not radical) politics are at the time, combined with the acts/policies that they consider forgivable.

I agree on this narrative cause while i am certain Putin is playing a strong hand here and Trump is a dummy.. the fallout so far with the EU gaining strength and unity and the other NATO members stepping up their defense budgets is defnetly not in Putins favor.. Therefor I expect the upcoming german elections to get quite messy in terms of meddling, fake news and scandals... we will problary see wikileaks take the scene again with one sided leaks.. German elections is the next tipping point.

Thank you, and I appreciate your attempt at proving my point. Exactly. To the letter.

... but it was unnecessary.

Well that statement by you is a strong indicator that you will not have anything substantial to contribute to this forum.

Putin, like trump, was very careful not to say anything negative about each other. Nothing odd about that at all. Definitely not odd that after Obama put sanctions on Russia and kicked out some Russians putin did not respond at all. Nothing odd about that at all.

Are you a Russian or a traitor?

Interesting point of view and logical.

The EU gaining military strength in the longer term while right on Russia's doorstep, disconnected from the influence of the U.S, is not a net positive.

It should be fascinating to see if your prediction comes true... and I suspect it may. Hopefully, they will now be expecting it and be much more prepared than the U.S. was. This will allow them to collect evidence to out Putin and Russia, if they are dumb enough to do it again.
