i'd much rather have Allison Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) :)

This is a nice picture of both of them.

House is a great show. I'm glad Fox actually gave it a chance having American Idol as its lead-in. Otherwise, I'm guessing Fox would've stuck it in some horrendous timeslot where no one would've seen it, mixed up the episodes so you got no continuity, and then pre-empted it constantly, until they cancelled it, blaming the show for failing to attract viewers.

EDIT: GRAMMAR (mine sucks)

I like it, and I think it's quality. Therefore, I'm sure they'll toss the show before too long.

Fox doesn't like having good shows in their lineup, didn't you get the memo?

you guys know that Dr. House has an English accent and acts his American accent in every episode ? It's quite a feat the way he does it in particular.

If I'm not mistaken, he's actually Australian.

He used his regular accent in Flight of the Phoenix though.

I love how it's ALREADY out on DVD (season 1 and season 2 just started.)

I think it's funny that House is on Fox... AND IT'S AN NBC PRODUCTION!!!!

What's next? Buena Vista productions on Viacom stations? :D

House is great, but it is a very restrictive premis and may fade as they stretch for diseases and conditions.

Good show but how far can they take it? How many nearly impossible to cure cases can they invent to keep it interesting? Maybe it's the hospital causing the problems.

Awesome show. I just started watching this season.

Reunion is also one of the best shows out there now.

I remember in Season one there was a really sad ep where the patient dies I think it was ep 10 and involves the homeless lady.

But yea the formula is getting kinda repetitive.

Patient comes in unexplained symptoms. (first 5-10 minutes)
House tries different treatments and tests. (another 5 min).
Patient gets better. (varies)
Patient crashes and gets to be near death. (varies)
BAM some other explanation comes arises. (repeat for another 5-10 minutes)
House finds the cause and applies treatment (last 5-10 minutes).
Patient Lives/Dies (27-2)

I love the show but the formula is getting old. :)

great show

I agree that they may run out of obscure things to cure...perhaps not every show should revolve around a patient..

One of the episodes either won an award for creative writing or got nominated for it. It was the episode last season where House lectures about a few sample cases (involving Carmen Electra as one of the patients)... to an auditorium full of students and in the end - it turned out he was talking about himself - the patient - the whole time.

In the episode where the newborns were getting sick (due to the old lady who brings them teddy bears) one of the first 2 newborns to get sick died.

but yes, House kicks so much ass, it's almost a guarantee fox will cancel it

How does it kick so much ass when following the same formula? You guys probably just like how he's an ass to all these people who you have real-life counterparts to and you're jealous of how he sticks it to em.

Every series is formulaic
