I started watching it, but after 15 minutes I turned to watching Cops instead.

Maybe I will try watching it again next time.

I used to.

Jack Lord was the very definition of "cool".

we're not talking about the 1420's version. we're talking about the new version.

With Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim, Alex O'Loughlin, and Grace Park

The interraction between Scott Caan and Alex O'Loughlin works really well.

And Grace Park in a binkin?

Agreed. The "new and improved" version leaves much to be desired...it's not terrible...but it's certainly not great either.

IMO, they should have found a better looking wahini...instead of Grace Park.

I'm with Boomer. The famous line "Book'em Deno" just didn't sound the same, but I'll give it one more go.

Strange trying to figure out who was playing which part, but it looks ok.

The big question is what are they doing about the big villain? Will there be a Wo Fat?

Just saw it at 8pm, liked it. The lead is a bit (Navy guy) overdone. Like the rest of the cast though.

Out of the new shows so far, only one I'll probably bother with next week. Didn't care for the Event, Chase didn't really do it either.

I only caught 20 minutes it was fairly decent, but I'll have to watch more to see if it holds my attention. So far this new season I'm not that impressed with the new shows.

It was the first episode, so it had the inevitable contrived and forced moments to "introduce" the characters. It has potential, so I'll watch it a few more times now that those lame intros are done.

Oh, and Grace Park is hot -- just not as "endowed" as I remembered from BSG. :awe:

I never saw the original but if they put this chick in a bikini each episode I may keep watching.

I was taking apart an elliptical machine and didn't want to change the channel because my hands were dirty, so it was on. I didn't like the main character, but no show is really awesome in its first season, especially the first few episodes. Go back and watch early episodes of Seinfeld and Frasier. It's hard to believe they picked those shows up, but they turned out great.

Los Angeles, California is now part of Hawaii??

Your reading comprehension/picture matching fails. I wasn't reffering to Grace Park based on the picture I posted.
