Does this get better after the 1st 2 episodes or so?

I started watching this and watched the 1st 2 episodes so far and it's boring.

It's sad because I loved Tamsin Grieg and Stephen Mangan in Green Wing which was hilarious.

so far it's just predictable and cliched comedy.

Wait til Matt Leblanc shows up. The show gets ten times better. He should be there in an episode or two.

He's there now, only on the 1st episode that he appeared though.

didn't do anything for me so far. Guess I'll give it a few more episodes and see.

I really like it, despite the travesty of Matt LeBlanc winning an emmy for last year for playing . . . Matt LeBlanc.

But if you don't like it now you probably never will.

It is what it is, which is a fairly knowing take on Brit writers dealing with the insanity and inanity of the Hollywood studio system.

Scenes like this, which goes with this and are from the this weeks ep, truly crack me up.

My wife and I didn't care for it. Only reason we watched the first season is because it came on between Californication and Shameless. I can see how it would appeal to others, seems like one of those shows that also probably gets a lot better after the first season once things are set up, but it just wasn't for me.
