Saw the show and liked it. I really liked the commentary on the school system (and kids) of today.
Do kids today not have to stand and recite the pledge every morning? Just wondering.
Also, what was wrong with the principal slamming the kid up against the locker. My principal was a (recently) retired brigadier general and would lift you up off the ground, slam you against the locker, and keep you suspended there while he spoke to you. I have no problem with that. Maybe thats why the kids today are so undisciplined, school officials cant touch the kids and parents cant even spank/slap their kids anymore for fear of CYS stepping in.
Some other good requirements that schools should implement: swimming (used to be a common requirement years ago), first aid and c.p.r. (I couldnt graduate unless I was Red Cross certified in both. They, unfortunately, droppped those requirements the year after I graduated).
