So if 0^0 = 1 then 1 = 0.

0^0=1 only makes sense in certain contexts like power series. Otherwise you could argue 0^0=0.

I still contend that sour cream on mashed potatoes is acceptable..... but for those occasions sans sour cream, gravy is not on the menu. We need a poll for this.
