I hardly use my Thunderbolt port on my Macbook Pro because hardly any of my accessories support it, except as a display port. TDM seems like a really nice way to use your Mac as an input display rather than the traditional output.
Currently, Target Display Mode is only supporting the iMac...

Seems like a really cool feature to utilize. I think it would be pretty cool to hook up a game console to your notebook to use as a display; or other similar uses.
The other alternative is purchasing a Capture Card, but a pure cable solution without any extra software would be really nice.
I currently use Remote Desktop software, but would prefer a solution without any obvious image degradation.
