Far too often, in times of conflict, we resort to our most basic human instincts. Where we would otherwise use communication to solve our problems, we resort to aggression. Had President John F. Kennedy capitulated to his basic instincts, the world we know today could be radically different. Kennedy, and Soviet Premier Nikitia Khrushchev was likely responsible for averting what could have otherwise been one of the most catastrophic events in human history.
