Anyone wanna buy a "slightly" used chair?

So I'm sitting here, leaning back (probably further than I should've been), and next thing I know I'm looking at the ceiling and uttering words I've only formally heard out of Samuel L Jackson's mouth. After some poking and prodding at my chair, I find this.

I've had this thing going on 7 years now, paid next to nothing for it (going out of business sale), and my friend kind of banged it around a bit during my move back in November, but I thought it was still okay.

So who wants to donate a new chair to me? Don't be shy, just ship it on over 🙂

Bah, now I'm gonna have to go to Staples tonight and spend my Christmas Eve beer money on a new chair 🙁...curses!

im sitting in that same chair right now.

it was onsale at staples for like $50 like a year or 2 ago.

atleast the underside is identicle to the one i have.

Underside looks like mine too. My hinge bolt broke, but that was easy enough to replace. Looks like yours is a bit worse, unless you have welding equipment

I have the same chair, it's about the same age.
Got it at Coscto. Better check out what's going on there.

It wasn't a very good chair, and it was a "demo" at an Ames way back when. I just spent $40 at Staples on a very nice medium-back manager's leather chair, extremely comfy, easy to put together, and cheap enough to replace every few years if needed.
