I remember when we used to have gloves in the dorm... We always agreed to keep it mellow but the moment someone got a good hit in, things really pick up. It's still all in fun 😀

hahaha exactly.

with my friend and i, we are first said take it easy on the head and face.

Man mine is slightly puffy, you should see his, he's got a black eye and red everywhere.

im also like 10 weightclasses above him, he is like 150 lbs

me and my buddy bought some a few months ago. We had a short sparring contest. He has about 80 lbs and 3 inches on me. wasn't great.

hahahahahahahahahahaha.

bummer dude. well i've got about 100lbs, and 4 inchs of height on this guy.

however, he outreaches me, long ass arms.

It's not all about strength.... there's a lot to speed. (as well as having the weight behind the punch, which is where a lot of the strength comes in).

Ditto and technique is key to punching.

The transfer from the legs, hips, trunk and to arms.

you get 85kgs of snatch? I envy.

Leg press is my pride. I can do atleast 600lbs, that is all the freeweights that were available at the time, and it wasnt too hard, I bet i could do 800 before my back started to break.

Cleans I have never done with any real weight. My cleans were always big plastic yellow weights, about 10lbs each, on the ends, and you just do them up and down real quick for endurance.

What size gloves does everyone use?

The ones we bought were 14. I wanted either 12's or 16's, and couldnt decide, so 14 ouncers is what I chose.

well if it was someone my size 10 would be ok, but for you they would need to be a minimum of 12. 14 sounds good. 🙂
