Anyone waiting for Black & White (Peter Molyneux' next Milestone)? Which is the best video card for BW?

Actually Giants ran pretty okay on my TnT2 (as long as there weren't more than 2 objects on the screen).. I imagine the Radeon would do very well with Giants

Actually, ndee, he's not alone. I've never heard about this game until now. And is it just my connection, or is that server with all the screenies really slow?

No, actually I'm not kidding, and I stay pretty ontop of the gaming scene. If this game was worth looking at, I would have read about it, or been told about it. From the screenshots, its just a wannabe. THe eyecandy isn't very good either.

OK, to all you not-knowers:
Black &amp; White has about 750'000 Pre-Orders in Europe (or world-wide, not sure). How can somebody say, he's &quot;ontop of the gaming scene&quot;, and never heard of Black &amp; White? Do you know Peter Molyneux? The inventer of Populous, Dungeon Keeper, etc. The eye-candy is not good? Have you seen once a movie of this game? You must be kidding, cuz that's just not normal Mister-ontop-of-the-gaming-scene.

Thanks much for the info ndee, I own and love all the Populous series, and Dungeon Keeper 1 &amp; 2.. knowing the same dude who wrote those games is working on this one just made it a whole lot more interesting to me

It sucks, but there's always gotta be naysayers in threads. It's best to ignore them The fact that a) he supposedly &quot;knows of all games in the works&quot; b) didn't know about this game and c) is talking trash. His credibility is compromised by his own words.

We have also heard that the PC version of the game has now been cancelled, which seems to be confirmed by the fact that TWINE has mysteriously vanished from the PC release schedule on EA's press intranet site.

ahh well, that kindof sucks.. that would have been a good game to play.. so what consoles did they release it on? N64 + PSX? I played some of the PSX version.. it was pretty good.

It's no offense, but it seems to me pretty unbeliveable that you never have heard of one of these games. I'm only 18 and I wouldn't count me as a old-school gamer. Dungeon Keeper 2 is pretty new (1 - 1.5 yrs).

Generaly if its FPS I've heard of it, probably even played the demo. The closest thing to &quot;Dungeon Keeper&quot; I've heard is Dungeons &amp; Dragons. I'm 18 as well, and have been playing games for quite a few years. (Purely as a hobby, hardware and networking is my passion. I could whip you up a system that'd knock teh socks offa any quad sparc station. ;p AMD ALL THE WAY!)

As I'm writing this I'm waiting for the movie to download, I hate slow servers. *pauses for a snack* *returns a while later*

Hmm, it isn't bad, but nothing to write home about. No, theres noting &quot;revolutionizing&quot; about it, that I can see from the movie demo.
