The first sequence of images that end up with the guy dead from a gunshot to the head. I wonder what they found on him when they strip searched him. I find it very hard to believe that they would just kill people for no reason whatsoever.
 
I generally try and not draw conclusions from pictures or words taken out of context, but it looks pretty clear that they strip searched him and then decided to execute him. It doesn't look like they found any explosives or anything else on him as they were all crowded around him at a point where it looked like he had already been stripped to the point where any explosives or weapons would have been revealed.

My only question is: if the IDF gets their kicks from killing random Palistanians for no reason, why did they not kill his friend as well?

A Persian friend sent those pictures to me.

The story is that it was Kangaroo Court justice i.e. They found a bomb on him, concluded the obvious and convicted him right there...

In effect, they were judge, jury, and executioner...

Remember that every suicide bombing makes the news. If you'll check here, the BBC lists no suicide bombing on the 8th of March

On Friday, March 8, 2002, a suicide bomber on his way to perpetrate a terror attack in Jerusalem was apprehended by police while wearing a large explosive device on his chest and stomach area. He was held on the ground, face down, while a bomb disposal expert attempted to dismantle the explosive device. This lasted a number of minutes. During this time, the suicide bomber attempted several times to detonate the bomb by rubbing his chest against the ground in the hope of activating the detonation switch. In order to prevent the murder of the policemen and the bomb disposal officer, the suicide bomber was shot and killed by police. The bomb was dismantled with the aid of a bomb disposal robot.

The police have an investigative interest in apprehending suicide bombers alive in order to ascertain information that may assist in preventing further terrorist attacks, as witnessed a day earlier with the arrest of a suicide bomber in Jerusalem's Emek Refaim neighborhood.

Because none of us will ever know what happened. He could have had a bomb. But its hard to see in the photograph how it would be attached to him.

1 - Looks like Israel police/army personnel are making an arrest
2 - Person arrested is now on the ground
3 - Not much different from the 2nd picture. Looks like they might be waiting for backup
4 - Backup arrives. Person on ground seems to have done something wrong because there's now a gun pointed right at him
5 - Person on ground is dead
6 - Bomb disposal robot is brought in to dismantel bomb
