Anyone using Zyrtec against hay fever?

It is not a medication that you can take as needed. Takes too long to kick in for that. If you take it regularly, it offers significant relief for many people. Similar to Claritin.

My friend just told me if you take it before going to bed, the next 3-4 days you wouldn't have any problems with it. And Claritin is weaker then Zyrtec I think.

I take it. Use it before bed, it will make you sleepy, but it works good. Claratin/Clarinex will keep you awake, so if you use that, take it in the morning.

You need to take it regularly to work properly. It isn't stronger or weaker, it is that people respond to medications differently. For some Zyrtec is better, for some the reverse. The majority cannot tell a difference.

I have used it on an as needed basis, and had good results. I got a few samples some time back... need to look into some more. It never made me drowsy, either.
