Anyone using the Silencer 275W PSU?

thinking about purchasing one. Is it quieter than the Enermax Whisper? What's your experiences with it?

I've had one for over 2 1/2 years and love it. I've never been able to get the rest of the computer quiet enough to be able to hear it (and god knows I've tried!).

yeah, i gotta admit it is a bit quieter, but without the second fan, my cpu temp is about 5 degrees higher. and you're not getting the extra 55 watts the 330 gives you. IMHO, stick with a good enermax. If noise is a concern, you're better off using the best supply and sticking your comp in a closet or better yet another enclosure like a cardboard box. No joke, i use one and love it. I mostly do harddisk recording and editing so it's a godsend. good luck.

I've had one for two years. It's a power supply with a quiet fan that doesn't move as much air as some of the noisier ones. It's OK, but I wouldn't spend all that money on one now. I vote for the Enermax, or any other reputable brand that's reasonably priced.
