I love mine!

Using two 256MB/PC133 Kingmax sticks. They're officially CAS3, but the store guaranteed all to work at CAS222 up through ~143MHz. Mine work beautifully & rock-stable at 133/CAS222! 609MB/sec in Sandra 2001 with Asus A7V133 using "PC143/7ns" setting.

But that's not all! What really sets them apart is the low-profile design. These sticks are less than HALF as tall as all regular memory! They practically don't block any airflow (or anything else) inside your case. They also have PC150 memory.

Im running Kingmax PC150 - TinyBGA, and I love it. Runs at 170MHz just peachy, too bad my T-bird can't handle that :)

Despite what my comp specs below say..I am way too lazy to update them.

I have some of the pc-150@153 cas2 and I think my kt133 is the only thing keeping it from going higher.

btw I think www.mwave.com has about the best deal on the stuff.

I have 256MB of PC-133 Infineon, will that run with the Kingmax? I wanna run at least 384(maybe 512) in my new system with win2k. Or should I just buy all kingmax?

I wouldn't mix and match RAM. I know it has worked and should work but still a tricky proposition with one of the two most important and troublesome parts of your computer.

I personally use 3 128Mb KingMax PC150 sticks in my system and can only say good things. Although keep your eye out! There are two different versions of the PC150 128Mb DIMM. There are Version 1.2 sticks and 1.0 sticks. I've read around that the version 1.2 are much better. Fortunately I ordered a stick about 6 months ago and got the v1.2. Then, about two months after that, I ordered some more RAM from the same vendor assuming I'd get the v.1.2 again and I got two sticks of 1.0. I was pissed and they woren't very helpfull. I did however just pop them in and actually I can't complain, everthing is good. So who knows.

How d'you distinguish if the one you have is version 1.0 or 1.2? Could you post the corresponding serial nos. of the said memory?

if it's a 256MB stick it's going to be version 1.0 PC (this will work with VIA chipsets just fine :)), if you're ordering 128's, it could be any of them... you want REV 1.2!!!!! VIA chipsets have problems with rev 1.1!

But still how would you be able to distinguish if the 128MB stick is v1.1 or v1.2? Also, you're saying a 256MB is as good as a 128MB v.1.2 stick?

The rev number is located on the side of the PCB, next to one of the chips. On the very end.

And it's the version of the PCB for the seperate sticks. They got the 256 totally right the first time. The 128 had problems with rev 1.1 on VIA chipsets. They all use exactly the same chips though. Gotta love the 6ns!

i don't have the pc-150 version, but i've used their regular pc-133 stuff before, and had no problems with it whatsoever.... good quality sdram, no compatibility issues that i discovered in any setup i used it with, what more could you ask for? It works, is stable and widely compatible, and is cheap, so in my book it's good stuff :)

I have PC-150 version, it runs fine, but the only thing which kinda disaapoint me is it will not do 2-2-2 at 150 nor 140 above.
