I have dumped the V5 and placed a g400 with 16mb and right now I am running at 1405 at 148fsb....

I think the V5 drew too much power as well as a driver problem for me anyway....

BTW!
I use radeon le w/ asus a7v133 and after getting the latest drivers for radeon, windows 98 just wouldn't start....went to start up screen then monitor went blank! I had to reinstall windows and am now using drivers that came from the cd....i think asus's new bios solves this same prob but that is w/ the ati rage or something.

It's my POS monitor's fault! Nothing is wrong with the motherboard (ASUS) nor ATI's Radeon. Big apology to both companies for almost smeared your names.

My solution around the problem can be read here:

Sorry for no reply in such a while....im using bios 1003. Still using radeon le drivers that came on cd. Do you think it is my monitor like mobiousloop??????????

EDIT: I am using a compaq mv520 15" monitor and thats what windows recognizes it as. I am going to upgrade to new bios now.
