Anyone using MBM 5 and MSI NF4?

Is anyone out there running one of the MSI NF4 boards using MBM 5? As most people know, MBM 5 is no longer supported, but MBM 5 works well on the K8N Neo2 (S939) when the version of MBM 5 for the MSI K8N Neo Platinum (S754) board is used because the boards use the same (W83627THF-A) sensor chip.

So, is no one is using MBM 5 with one of the MSI NF4 boards, does anyone happen to know if they use the W83627THF-A sensor chip?

I know that the voltages on the board will be different due to peculiarities respective to each board i.e. AGP vs PCI-e, vcore, ect, but I saw another MBM 5 thread here on Anandtech where a resourceful user modified the .ini file to work with an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe. Great job but can this be done for the MSI boards?

My next build will most likely use an NF4-based board, but I really like my VL Systems LIS2 Premium VFD (sweet!), which uses MBM 5 for monitoring everything and fan management and I would like to migrate the LIS2 over to my new system when the tie comes.

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

BTW, if you aren't familiar with the LIS2 Premium VFD and are curious here is a link to a description at Xoxide.com:

I don't have that board, but after playing around with MBM, I got it to work with my DFI. Just took some trial-and-error.

Thanks for replying ketchup. What MBM 5 profile did you use for your LP NF3 250GB? The profile for the LP NFII Ultra?

Also, when you say "playing around with MBM" what do you mean? Modifying the voltages or othr stuff in the .ini file?

I think I chose the lanparty nfII, but all the temps were wrong anyway. Once installed, I just went in and manually selected the correct temp and voltage sensors from the menus. It now displays the same temps and voltages as the DFI utility.

OK, thanks ketchup.
