Anyone using Google Apps premiere for their business?

Currently we have our own VPS, own domain, outsourced exchange and a bunch of other stuff for accounting and the like, and do backups and the like.

I use Google apps for myself (personal stuff), but was interested to hear from those that use it for their SMB.

So what do you think of it?

BTW, one of the main reasons we haven't even considered it is the disparity in mail clients on mobile devices, and no Pop mail doesn't cut it.

Maybe POP is new since you've posted here, but I'm fairly positive I noticed pop access as a feature of GAFYD when I signed up a few days ago (using free version for personal stuff like you).

POP access has been in gmail for quite some time now anyway, and it's the same system. Dunno about mobile devices though.

Anyway, I'm so far pleased with GAFYD, I use the docs and calendar pretty often and create fairly simple web pages with ease. Any other opinions?

I think he meant "And no, pop mail doesn't cut it"

Commas matter ;)

We use it actually - though the apps portion is primarily used by my services business.

I *really* like it. All in all, it's great. Here's some quick impressions:

Pros
-Working regardless of which computer you're on, since files aren't stored locally.
-Massive amounts of e-mail and file storage
-Great security/uptime
-Heck of a lot cheaper than MS Office

Cons
-Not all features of office are supported in the apps software
-Sometimes formatting gets screwed up when you convert to google docs format
-It seems like some e-mails just disappear. Messages I had in the inbox go completely missing sometimes, and it just feels like we aren't getting all our mail through (this is entirely an unfounded statement, but it just seems like we get a little less mail now).
-The 'matching' system that Gmail uses to show related messages is great, but can cause you to not notice certain messages.

Those are the biggies so far. I wouldn't recommend for a huge enterprise to try and migrate over right now, but for SMB applications, I'm satisfied.
