Anyone using EasyTune6 with their newer Gigabyte boards?

I have a massive Xigmatek HSF with a 120mm fan that doesn't need to be running at 1400 rpm as it's quite audible. My load temps with both cores at 100% is 28 ºC, so I'm wanting to back that fan down to half the load or less so my computer will almost be completely silent. However, no matter what I do inside EasyTune6 the fan speed stays at 1400ish rpm. I've been at it for about 15 minutes and have searched Google with no luck.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Is the bios option (smart fan control or something similar) set to ON.

I'm using it with my UD3P. It usually crashes every night, so I've not used it much.
