Just wondering if anyone uses Peltiers anymore for cooling their P4/TBRED/BARTON ??
Are SLK-900u made strong enough for a 226w peltier?

I have one laying around and been wanting to test it on my 2.4c.. any 411 will be appriciated :p

Swiftech is the only supplier of a heatsink that's designed to work with your pelt. Watercooling is your best bet.

Don't you need a dedicated power supply for a pelt like that?... i was looking at the swiftech pelts+water kits too... :D

i use pelts

i use two 120 watt pelts with a custom water cooling system which is enough to drop temps on a barton oc'd to 2.2ghz to like 0c

pelts are awesome

SLK-900u or any other air cooled heatsink i've seen out there won't be sufficient for pelts with any real power (ie over 80 watt)

get a decent waterblock like one from dangerden.com and a radiator if you plan to use pelts

also don't forget about condensation

good luck
