Had to RMA my Enermax 490 Dual Rail and got my new parts today. All I got it my backup Thermaltake 420watt with 18amps on the 12v.

Got:
DFI NF4 Ultra-D
BFG 6600GT OC
1gb Corsair Value
1 HDD
2 optical drives
4 case fans

Won't get my replacement Enermax for about a week and a half. Would this TT power this system fine for a week or so? Anyone using what I would call generic PSU with their DFI NF4 board? I won't be o/cing of course.

I bet it would work fine. Does it have a 20- or 24-pin connector? I'm not sure about the DFI boards, but I know most of the other Nforce4 boards will allow you to use a 20-pin connector and just leave the other pins bare. That'd probably work for a week or two until you can get your other PSU.

I'm using this thermaltake PSU and I dont have any problems with it. With my nforce4 board, it is rock stable. I wouldnt be affraid to overclock with it too.
