anyone used Win2k SP4 ok with no issues ?

Anyone had no problems after installing SP4 or is there a mountain of new problems ?? For Windoz 2000... ^_^
 
Of the 6 or so machines that I've upgraded from SP3 I've only had problems with one, of the additional 4-6 machines that I've setup with a slipstreamed SP4 CD I made about a week and a half ago I havent had any problems at all. On the box that I did have problems (about half way through the boot it BSODed on me) I was able to uninstall the SP from safe mode and it returned to regular functioning order, that box however was one of my crashboxes and very well could have been related to one of the literally hundereds of differant configurations we had played with on it since it was last ghosted (ghosting back & reapllying SP4 worked just fine).

I've installed SP4 on my win2k box ( a laptop), with no problems. There have been some problems reported with Win2k SP4, but none affect my setup, so I'm good to go. You may want to do some more research, and make sure none of the issues with SP4 affect your setup.

Well I dont know that I would truly consider anything 100% stable, but perhaps (at least according to Microsoft's marketing department) you could consider it to be 99.999% stable
