I have an RS300 board. But it's the PR4-800 VM from Asus. Asus does not plan to update the bios to support Surround view.

Which is really ... ANNOYING.... because Surround view was the whole reason I got the board.

Oh well, Asus lost one customer. Don't ever intend to buy Asus again.

So now I'm waiting for MSI or FIC to release their 9100 IGP Pro boards.

Suprise, Asus is a crappy brand that is dying a slow death and clinging to it's glory days.

boo asus isn't craopy

only their support is

they also said that bios 1014 was going to be final for the p4c800 series but they went ahead and released 2 more after that..so you may get lucky still.

ai.,.. I thought so. But thanks to some ...friends... I obtained the email for a couple of the Asus engineers... and they've flat out responded no chance in the P4R-800 VM getting an update. Oh well.

When I do get a board that supports Triple screens, got a 9800 Pro and 3 monitors awaiting.

You guys are hijacking the thread :p

I have a friend who has a 9100IGP motherboard in a custom SFF pc he is using for his media center. It is running two 17" LCDs and a 19" CRT. The image quality of all 3 monitors are equally good.. I don't know if you are able to run different resolutions on each individual monitor, but he is running 1280x1024 on all 3 monitors.

I'm not sure what motherboard he had, but I would definitely say that the IQ running 3 monitors is virtually the same as any modern AGP card.
