I got s stick of that 512 patriot, on the box it's like rated for coverclocking from 400mhz-533mhz

Although I cant keep my s754 stable over 235 fsb, 240 runs but 50-50 chance of reboot

235fsb never reboots

Is this my ram or what?

the guy I got the chip from on this board had the cpu up to 2.6ghz on water

And my idle temps are 37c-45 from what ive ever seen them be... ??

Any suggesions?

Vcore is 1.55 * 113%

oh, i got the PDP Patriot pc3200LL (low-latency) rated at 2-3-2-5 at 400mhz. For some reason, it came up with an error at cas 2, but at 2.5 it was fine.

BTW, it is probably just a case of a bad memory batch, but it looks awsome, and is made in America!!!

i got the ram.. pdp is great performance at a very low price!! i mean 1 gig for 220 that is good for up to 270-280 from what i hear. jpeyton recommends them on his december buying guide as well for budget ram that can compete with some of the bigger names. the pdp (patriot) ram w/xbl can run 2-2-2-5. i reached 2.4 ghz no prob but put ram at 2.5-3-3-7. 1:1 timing. havne't tried bumping it higher. i just built the comp.

I've use a few. Mostly they work as advertised, though once had some rated CAS2 that would only run at CAS2.5. YMMV. Still, very good values.

Did you run memtest86 & prime95 , this may give you a clue on what's going on.

A buddy of mine got the cas2 Patriot RAM (2-3-2-5 timings) and it just recently crapped out on him. It won't even boot into Windows at cas3 anymore. Sucks.

hi. i have patriot ram too. runs 2.5-3-3-8 timings at ddr 400. the ram says its signature line ddr pc3200 cl2.5. on the website i enter the product number in and it seems to be nonexistant. weird. also i have problems with the ram using a 1:1 divider at anything above a 215 htt on my 64 any ideas why?

There are several different kinds of PDP Patriot RAM. It sounds like some of you have the LLK, which in fact will not go much above 220 even at relaxed timings.

The XBL is rated 2-2-2-5 @ 200

If you've got an A64, it's no big deal anyway - set a memory divider. The performance drop won't be noticeable in real world use.

XBL is great stuff. I don't use it for oc'ing, but it will run at very tight timings and should top out at 266 with still fairly tight timings if you oc. I have nmever had an issue with PDP Ram. As for the guy above, call them and get an rma. they have a lifetime warranty on their ram.

Im using Patriot PDC1G3200+XBLK (PC3200) from Newegg

Get the following timings on
A64 3000 Neo2 Platinum 1.4 BIOS

290 x 9 CPU 1.4v+10%
237 2.5-3-3-8-1T 2.85v (5/6 div)

280 x 9 CPU 1.4v+10%
280 2.5-3-3-8-1T 2.85v (1:1)

Tried 290 1:1 and would not boot at above timings.
Still trying different settings.

Have not tried modded bios for higher voltage, have tried higher CPU voltage and seems haven't been able to hit 300 for CPU

The Max voltage in BIOS says 2.85 for mem. Still testing

Im running my A64 3200+ at 2.4

266FSB * 9 for CPU
266FSB 2.5-3-3-6 with stock voltage...

I doubt its ur ram that has the problem
try overvolting ur CPU
i had to raise the cpu voltage 3.3% to get stable

I just bought a gig of the 3200LLK. They perform as advertised at stock speed. I have them set at 2.5-3-3-6 @ 2.65v, 222FSB 1:1 and they are performing wonderfully. Very nice memory for the money......

Are you running the RAM at 1:1 on a 267MHz FSB?
What memory timings are you running the XBL at, to stay stable?
