I'm thinking about switching over completely to my laptop. I would still like to have a computer desk where my printer, iPod dock, etc are. So, I'd like to get a wireless USB in my laptop and a wireless USB hub sitting on my desk.

Has anyone tried these things yet? Are they reliable?

Is anything going to improve in the next 6 months? I really don't need to make the switch til August or so.

I would but the few I've seen are way too pricey. And I haven't actually seen one to buy yet. I've been reading a lot about the YE Data unit. Wait until the pioneers and early adopters have caught all the arrows...

I know I can get an internal wireless USB card for my laptop along with a wireless hub from Dell for $150. A bit pricey, but I'm sure it will go down. Pretty good price though compared to what I've seen elsewhere.
