anyone use winmx

hey all, i've been a long time morpheus and kazaa user... now that i can't connect to those programs at college, i'm forced to use winmx...
i just want to know if there's any spyware i should be aware of. i had kazaa lite before, is there anything like that for winmx? thanks

Try Direct Connect? Better than WinMX IMO.

Damn I wish my college banned people from using kazaa, morpheus, winmx, etc. Ever since the beginning of school this year our 27mbit line has been pegged at 100% except from 4 AM to 9 AM. It's sad too because we have a network search engine setup that has 99% of everything anyone would ever want to download to minimize the internet traffic. Unfortunately there are just too many newbs that don't have a clue that have sharing turned on just wasting bandwidth. The good stuff isn't on p2p programs anyway so why would you want to use them? Sorry to be ranting, but I'm pissed that my internet browsing has become slower than my modem at home. :|
