Anyone use two mice or mouse/trackball combo? At the same time?

I'm trying to duplicate the multimedia functions of the Microsoft Office keyboard which allowed you to use a mouse in your right hand and a scroll wheel with your left. The keyboard also had configurable hotkeys for gaming or programming shortcuts. See below:

Microsoft office keyboard.

However, Microsoft discontinued support in later driver versions. (temp fixes are available for xp and vista 32 bit) however these fixes don't work on windows 64bit. Now I'm trying to adjust to using my main mouse in my right hand and an additional mouse on my left. And its a pain in the ass.

Any programmers here that can write some drivers for intellitype to support the office keyboard in vista-64? (see similar request in Microsoft forums)

get cheap left mouse

Desolder LED, now you have a left mouse that only the scroll wheel works

I currently now use a Logitech Cordless Optical Trackball alongside of what I use to use dominantly my Logitech MX-1000 Laser Mouse. Both work at the same time.

I wish Logitech would come up with an updated trackball design that doesn't cramp my arched palm at times when using the trackball to game. And take advantage of bluetooth so the damn RF transmiter and receiver doesn't go finicky on me (unlike the bluetooth connection). Not to mention, Laser tracking instead too. and perhaps go back to the amberdextrous designs of the past but modernized.

Reason for the trackball, because I use a cordless keyboard and have my main PC as a living room computer. Its nice to kick back on the seat with keyboard and trackball beside your lap without worry of dragging the mouse.

Hear me Logitech!!!! NEW TRACKBALL NAO!!!!
