Anyone use the "new or used from..." on amazon?

I was ordering some textbooks online and you can get it a lot cheaper used via some other seller on amazon. Are these guys usually pretty reilable? I'm just afraid the shipping will be really untimely or something.

I saved quite a bit on this text book. I paid through amazon and I got the book promptly and it was in great condition.

For me personally I have more confidence int hat oen Amazon buy then the 13 or so buy/ sell transactions that I have had on ebay! Ebay is SO DODGY man.

Do it, I've sold a few books that way... it works fine and its safe!

I've sold at least 25 that way and it works great. I bought some books that way this semester and one came from hong kong in like 2 days.

amazon will back you up if the merchant fvcks up and they will shut them down if they fvck up too much, amazon really cares how your experience is shopping with them. if you have a problem make sure you call amazon, they will take care of you.

i used it a couple times and had good results.

have used it often for books and software and they have all come through. It may take another week or two but all have gotten to me eventually.

I have bought and sold used books on Amazon. So far no problems... one seller took a very long time to ship though..

Check the seller's rating, you should be able to see if they are a slow shipper.

Unless you pay extra books go media rate, so if the shipper mailed on (say) 11/27 the book might not arrive until tomorrow or even early next week.
