Where are you located?
Here in BC, Telus has the best coverage and clearest signals BY FAR... Never any drop calls, rarely any static, and service everywhere...
As for phones, the motorola v60 is nice... and the samsung flip ones are pretty good also...

I've heard nothing but trouble with telus, especially since their stocks have tanked and their union doesn't want to agree with them on anything. I'd stray away from telus like the plague, their cellular division is uber sucky. If you are in Vancouver I'd recommend Rogers AT&T, I've had them for years with no problems whatsoever.

In Ontario and Quebec, Telus has a peering agreement with Bell Mobility to use their network.
Bell has the same agreement in Alberta and BC, so there is excellent coverage coast-to-coast. It's MUCH better coverage than Rogers.

they must have something going on with nextel too, since when you call one of our telus phones sometimes it'll go 'please wait while the nextel subscriber is located'
