Anyone use SprintPCS?

I use to work at Best Buy and get a $15 a month deal for 750 anytime mintues and I haven't worked there for 5 months and I still get it. Anyway it's time for a new phone and I was going to order this one and was wondering if I can activate it myself? I don't want a Sprint person to do it because I may lose my plan. Does anyone have this phone? The site seems pretty reliable don't ya think? Any other sites where I can get this phone?

Sounds like you're getting a deal. I've been with Spring PCS for a long time....

I get 500 Anytime Mins and 1000 night/weekend for $35.99

There are better deals out there, but I had to threaten to cancel my last plan just to get my plan reduced to that. I think the cell companies are almost as evil as the land-line ones.

You just need to call Customer Service and let them know you're switching phone. Or you can even activate online and get a $10 credit. I've switched phone many times already. It takes 5 mins to switch the number over to your new phone.

don't worry about it i'm on the same plan as you and just call normal customer service and activate the phone. it usually takes sprint 5-12mo to catch up with people with "3rd party" plans after they leave work. but just calling to do an esn swap won't hurt anything

I switched phones a few weeks ago on my Sprint account. Called 'em up, and the only issue was I had to restart my annual contract. No prob since my old one was nearly up and I had planned on staying anyway.

The online activation doesn't work for Vision phones. There shouldn't be any problem swapping ESNs. There is no need to renew your contract or pay any activiation fees since you are just swapping ESNs. Be sure to tell them this in case they try to get you to renew your contract as a result of your request.
