I am having problems with it muting the sound after only a few minutes...just wondering if anyone has experience with this software

I agree. Very buggy and all around poor piece of software. Try Power Director if ya want a real piece of software.
 
I will try that...it came bundled with my tunercard as well


EDIT...that did absoluetly nothing...that is for editing files, which is fine...but I need something to use to watch tv with...help me please!!!!
