i was looking for some freebie image editing software and this one looks pretty good. do you agree or recommend a different app. i prefer one that can be used in linux as well
What is it you want to do? Crossplatform, I like Gimp. Windows only, I like Paint.NET. Neither has web integration, but you could probably get Gimp to do web via scripting.
It looks like a pretty nice setup. I played with it a bit, and it seemed to do everything I like with routine image manipulation. That said, I'm generally against using web applications. I don't like relying on a net connection, and I like being able to control the software. If you don't have those issues, it looks like it would work well for you. If you want local software, keep Paint.NET for Windows, but use Pinta instead of Gimp for GNU/Linux. Pinta is like a stripped down Paint.NET, but it covers the core functionality.
My creation with pixlr :^D
