Anyone use Nike's Dri-fit or Under Armor?

I sweat when I work out. A lot. In the half mile jog to the gym has my shirt gets about half soaked. This makes my daily workout uncomfortable. I'm in good shape, not overweight, I just sweat a lot. Dunno why, but it's annoying.

So I see a lot of this new Dri-fit stuff from Nike, and similar stuff from Under Armor. I was thinkinking about picking a couple t-shirts up, but for $25/each, I wanna make sure it's actually worth it. The cost itself isn't that big of a deal, but I'd rather not spend $50 on two t-shirts that are only going to work marginally better than my $5 undershirts from the Gap.

Anyone use this and can reccomend it?

What do you hope to accomplish anyway? I'm not following. The Dri-fit doesn't magically make the sweat disappear - you're still going to feel it, just maybe not as much. if you sweat that much jogging a half a mile bring another shirt to workout in

I want the sweat to not be on my body. According to the under armor site, you just towel off the shirt and feel dry within 60 seconds.

I can't really do that without removing my t-shirt otherwise.

I could bring another shirt, but it'll just get as soaked with sweat as my other one within 10-20 minutes, so I'd only end up being slightly more comfortable for that time. I don't want to carry 3 shirts with me for the entire workout in addition to my phone/keys/id.

I have an UnderArmour REALLY REALLY heavy shirt that I wore in the winter when I was training for a marathon. Seriously, this this was HEAVY DUTY. I'd wear JUST the UnderArmour and a hooded sweatshirt above it, and I'd come in sweating bullets after a 13-mile run in single digits weather.

I like my shirt, but I don't have a cool-for-summer one, I've got a warm-for-winter one.

What about the "compression technology"? Did you really notice a difference (was it uncomfortable?)? I know they use similar tech with speed-swimming suits, so there's definatly some science behind it.

I picked up a Nike Dri-Fit tank top for weightlifting. It's damn good! I'm wearing it at work as well now, since i'm under the sun all day.
