I can't stand Braun. And I hate those three-headed Norelco's.

I like 2-head Remingtons. Much easier to get replacement heads and screens for Remingtons.

Andy, I started two threads recently on this same topic. Check 'em out here and here.
Blades by a landslide.

I use a Norelco Beard Trimmer. I like a little hair on my face.

Shaving I use a gillete disposable.

I have a 3 headed Remington Microscreen (the foil screens, not the rotary kind) and love it. Got it for $77 at Wal-Mart for Christmas

Another vote for Remingtons. Been using them since the 80s. Hate Norelcos.

Tried Braun and Panasonic but still think the Remingtons are the best. Hope they dont stop making them.

I had a Norelco that I used for a year or so until it died. I will never buy another one...they just don't shave as close as a blade. I always had that little fuzz on my face after shaving...

I am considering actually getting one of the "Art of Shaving" kits with an old-timing straight razor just because that's the closest shave you can get. ;) There's nothing like the feeling one of those gives you. I used to go to a barber shop and pay just because I didn't have a razor that could shave like that. MACH3 is the best you can get for safety-razors.

Scarpozzi-

Yeah, try it, youll like it.

Always used a straight razor, brush and soap untill I stopped working. Best shave ever but be careful especially with a hangover ! I speak from experience. ;)

Get a GOOD brush and RAZOR from a Beauty Supply shop if you can. Will beat any of those new kits. Need a leather strop also but dont know where you can find those now.

Hmmm.....you are the tender skinned type.;)

Try shaving with the electric and not pressing so hard. You will not get as close a shave but you also need to condition your skin. This can take several weeks to several months.

My shaver

Only cost me $30 CDN though. Expensive site.

I've used it about once a week (I'm 15) for the last 6 months. I don't know what people can complain about electrics. I get no fuzz, it feels so smooth after use. I've used a blade before, I know the feeling. What a messy PITA using a blade for the same results.

Sometimes I do get a fair bit of hair between shaves, so don't cite the good results on no hair.

Just for me though, your results can and will be different.

I got that exact Norelco as a X-mas present and it is friggin AWESOME. I have used electric shavers for a while for convenience but they have never been as good as a real shave. THIS ONE IS! I get razor burn after using it when set to the lowest sensitivity setting. The battery is awesome too and lasts a solid 100 minutes on a 1 hour charge. A razor will never touch my face again.

I just upgraded from a Remington twin foil electric to a tri-foil Braun Synchro with the cleaning system. It does a really nice job, and my razor also smells a lot better now.
