Anyone use direct connect hub?

I don't get it.... whenever i try to browse anyone's files it just sits there in the queue tab.

Any pointers?

1) hammer them. It's forcing it's way in, but remember....there are 5,000 other people doing the same thing.
2) Find a good hub. How much are you sharing? What connection are you on?

I'm on cable. I'm on the OT.net hub (like 52 users).... how do I hammer them ? I'm sharing 1.5GB but only 2 files have been taken from me. I can't even search .... i click search and it sits there like a dumbass like i haven't hit the search button. And the people that i try to browse files from just sit in the queue tab...... for like hours at a time and it doesn't do ANYTHING.

100GB minimum share rooms with 560+ people are much cooler, heh - like 75TB total on average. Must be a lot of personal documents and large fake file sharing going on - plus lots of Linux ISOs, right?

have you tried switching between active and passive modes? That works sometimes for me, But usually if everything is queued just means that they don't have any open slots for you to dl from. When that happens you can either wait for a slot to open, message them and ask them (nicely) to open a slot for you, or share more files to get to a better hub. With only 52 people to dl from, chances are no one's going to have slots open for awhile.

Only sharing 1.5gb? Dude, i was sharing over 130gb the last time i was using DC. I only used the 80/100gb + hubs b/c anything else was a waste of time. My friend hangs out on the 10 megabit hubs and he gets files from 120kb/s to 300kb/s he says.
