Anyone use Dell TV's as monitor?

I was curious how the Dell tv's stack up against Dell monitors when used as monitors.

For instance, here we have the Dell TV/monitor, the W1900 19":

W1900

Here would be the most comparable dell monitor, the 2005FPW 20":

2005FPW

Obviously the 2005FPW is a little larger, and cheaper for that matter. But in terms of performance, I would like to know how the W1900 compares to the 2005FPW.

Hrm

The problem is that then 2005 performers better as a computer monitor

and the W1900 is likely the better TV

2005:
Higher Res
Better Response
Better Stand (from a PC users view)
USB Hub

W1900:
More Inputs (DVI-HDCP, Component)
NTSC Tuner (Standard TV)
Speakers (might be good for a stand-alone TV)
Special DVD Chip

the 2005FPW destroys the W1900 when used as a PC monitor, but lacks pretty much any "out of the box" TV capabilities

Incidently, the Gateway 21" Widescreen is right in the middle. It has the inputs (DVI-HDCP, 1x Component) and Special DVD chip combined with a Higher Resolution, Better Response, DVD Hub. Of course you pay for this over the Dell Widescreen (150-200), but the Gateway is a significantly better Monitor/TV than the Dell 2005.

i use my 2005fp's composite input with my digital comcast box as a tv every day. it looks fine.

i want to get a component scan converter so i can use a highdef source and watch things in 720p.

I have a 2005fpw and use a Vdigi ZD3 component to VGA adapter to use the monitor to watch TV on. It works great up to 480P, but no matter what settings I do, 720p or 1080i look too bright and are washed out. A lot of comcast boxes also have firewire that works, so if I use that + VLC, HDTV looks amazing on the monitor.
