Assuming you have an AMD64 not an AMD64 X2, and that you have Windows XP, then you'll probably want the one called:

AMD Athlon? 64 Processor Driver for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 Version (exe) 1.3.1

I haven't touched AMD's CnQ stuff in over a year and a half so I might be wrong.

Check the CPU speed in System Properties, is it low or stock?

For me, it remains at stock. Go figure.

why wouldnt i use it? any problems or anything? i wouldnt want it to not speed up by accident when i really need it. thanks

I think a lot didnt like it because it wouldnt work for them and they were jealous :p That was my position anyways.

I use it in my new 2.5ghz opty, works great no problems. Apparently you shouldnt use it when overclocking but thats bs im fine with it.

Sorry, those are the only things listed when starting AMD's CnQ. I remember back when I got CnQ working, which was over a year and a half ago, I couldn't use the then current version of the processor driver, I had to use an older version to get it to work and even then it didn't downclock the processor that much. All I can suggest is give RMclock a try if you can spare the resources, if not maybe post your problem in the CPU/Processors forum, they might be able to get the AMD driver working.
