I've been furiously searching the last four days or so. I need a case that can handle 4 Hard Drives.

This fits all of my criteria, but I'm concerned about the price. Seems too inexpensive. This is with no PS, but still, I don't want junk. I'm in and out of the case many times a week.

I have never used this case, so I cant offer you a real life opinion. First, from my experience, when I have spent a lot of time in my case, a large case has made all the difference. This case is pretty small for all it offers. Between the 2 120mm drive bays and all the other bays I cant imagine it offers the best airflow or ease of use. What is your price range for a case?

That is good I guess. The SLK3700 without the PSU is only $10 more at Directron.

That looks like a nice case to me! It's steel, and appears well made, from what I can see in the pics.

The 2-120 fan setup is great for cooling, and, if either set up with a rheobus or 7-volted, will be much quieter than multiple 80MM fans in a different case. That bottom drive cage appears to be removable if you look closely, and it's gonna get nice, cool air from that front intake!

I'd buy this case, if I was in the market for one right now!

This case is the exact same thing as the Antec SLK3700 with a different bezel on it. The drive cage is removable which makes it easier to add/remove drives and it has the rubber grommets for mounting the drives so they'll run quieter. It's a great case with excellent ventalation and very easy to work inside of.

Well you guys have helped me make up my mind. That Antec looks good in the bronze color. But I don't like doors, and matching the drives to the color would be a pain.

I just ordered the Compucase but from Newegg. $50 with a 300W PS. I can always sell the Power Supply.

Thanks to all for your advice. :)

How does the paint job compare to the SLK3700AMB?

I'm personally using the SLK3700AMB with watercooling and I love it because there is no need to mod the case.

Does the lack of door on the LX-6A19 make it any noisier than the SLK3700 other than the drive noise? Is it really white, or do beige drives look pretty reasonable in it? Is there a significant difference in the openings in the bezel in front of the 120mm intake? Thanks.

I just got one of these today from Directron.

It's nicer than I thought it would be by a long shot! This case is extremely well made. It's also very heavy..weighs 21 pounds with nothing in it! The front bezel is very heavyweight plastic, and also has a nice finish to it. It comes off easily by pushing two small catches near the bottom. The front panel also comes off easily to get at the filter for cleaning.

One nice touch is that the connectors for the front panel are set up either as small individual plugs, or as a single plug for the USB ports. The same for the headphone jack and microphone input also found in the front compartment.

The drive cages snap in and out easily, and the HD cage has rubber grommets in the mounting holes for each drive position. There's also a plastic panel where the PCI cards usually screw in, which have a snap-down holder instead of screws..no tools needed to change a card.

It comes with one "Global" sleeve-bearing 120 in the exhaust position. I was surprised to find that it has snap-in fan holders! I'm taking those out, as I'm using Panaflo's in my setup...an L1A for the intake, an H1A for the exhaust (rheobus controlled, of course..).

This case is a great deal for $39! I have a few mods to do before I move my SETI-crunchin' 8RDA+ system into it...gonna cut out the fan perforations, vinyl dye the silver front panel, etc...

I ordered from Newegg. Their site says beige. My beige drives blend very well. No noticable difference in color.

Can you tell me if your case has USB and audio jacks at the front of the case? The Newegg ones don't seem to have them.

The LX-6A19 is my next case for sure. I love that case. At Coolcases.com they call it the D8000 and do some pretty nice silencing mods to it. But I'll get if from Directron and mod it myself.

No it doesn't. No jacks, no retention mechanism for PCI cards. No fan. Does come with the fan holders and a 300W PS.

Wish I'd bought it from Directron. I bought it from Newegg because their description said "beige" and Directron's said "white".

If anyone runs across the paraphenalia for the jacks in front, LMK. My searches so far have been fruitless.
