Anyone use an air purifier?

where do you place your purifiers? we have a 1 story 2100 sq ft house. main rooms(living room, breakfast area, kitchen) get the dustiest.. but so does the master bed/bath.

do you place them on the floor? on a table/stand?

EDIT: i also see that they are best used in an enclosed room.. but our floor plan for the common area is relatively open - could I buy 2 or 3 of those for that area?

rabbit air! we have three of these in the extended family and love them. Clean the filter for years, automated dust and odor sensing with variable speed, very quiet.
Amazon has the best prices.

I ended up with a Rabbit Air MinusA2 SPA-780A, this thing.

I read through this thread and a lot of stuff online and the Rabbit Air's have a reputation with their customers that is almost cult like, everyone loves them.

We'll see how it goes in the coming weeks and months but fresh out of the box it is a pretty sexy piece of hardware and it really is quiet.
