I am also wondering if this will be beneficial for me with my workout regime and at this point in my fitness routine.

I am in week 9 of weight training 4 days a week every week and I do some cardio. I am seeing some results and would like to see more. I have been taking NSI Reload as a post work out shake and have recently started taking MuscleTech Anabolic Halo as a replacement for Reload and added MuscleTech CellTech Creatine. Also I am taking Whey protein. I am 6'3"-4"ish weight is 260 lbs. I am trying to get into better shape and probably eventually drop some lbs. I'd like to get down to 215lbs-230lbs range and be cut to some extent.
I am adding another day to my work out starting this week and will be doing 5 day work outs a week from now on.

Ok, if you are this new then I'm going to tell you to stay away from any type of hormones, etc. Stick with the basics: multivitamins, fish oil, creatine, whey protein, and maybe something for your joints. Hormones or hardcore supplements are pointlessly wasted unless you need them. Don't turn to them until you have plateaued and, as a beginner, that shouldn't be for years. I would say don't ever turn to them, since the benefits don't really outweigh the costs at times. I'm gonna say stay away from it especially right now. Don't make the mistake of being a noob on 'roids, if you get what I mean.

What should I take for joint maintenance?

"since the benefits don't really outweigh the costs at times."
explain?

my work out partner did a 3 week cycle of the 4-ad and he had great gains and no apparent side effects

this type of suplement wont benefit me now but it will when I have plateaued?
my work out partner started a week before me and we do the same work out.

The most important thing is diet, followed by sleep, and then training routine. Supplements such as vitamins and fish oil are mostly nutritional insurance, and others such as andro and test-boosters can be fairly dangerous, with very little proven benefit. Get your diet in shape first, worry about the other stuff when you've got the 95% squared away.

If you haven't lifted before, you will still have great gains. Adding steroids to your plan will make your progress faster, but YOU MAY have side effects. If not in the short run, you will definitely experience some in the long run. Most guys don't think about it 'cause they're in their early 20's and hey, who doesn't live forever when they're that old? Don't do it. You're new to it. Eat a ton and lift hard and you'll have great results. I say don't ever use steroids. Often times, steroids are used as a "cure-all" or an easy way out for people who have plateau'ed due to not changing their program or their own stupidity. You can always make gains naturally. Always. You just have to read up and know your stuff. Honestly, you're new - don't do something dumb. You will destroy your body and what good will it be then at the end of everything?

P.S. The joint supp is/are glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM. They help keep your joints healthy.

My friend has been taking this for about 40 days or so. Within the past two weeks, he's been having extreme eye problems (pain, bluriness, etc). These problems prompted him to go to the ER and an eye doctor. The eye doctor told him to stop taking the supplements. Within a few days, his eyes began to feel better. He bought the following "Hormone Regulation Kit" from bodybuilding.com. I'm not sure if it was the combination, but it did include 1-ANDROSTERONE.

1x 1-Androsterone, 60 Tablets
1x 4-AD, 60 Tablets
1x Arom-X, 60 Tablets

Be warned...

He has always tried to get me to take such supplements, but I always decline for fear of something like this happening to me. I have enough problems, I don't want to bring anymore on myself. I only drink protein shakes and adjust my diet to a more healthy one. Oh and when you're lifting, get 8+ hours of sleep.

Even without supplements, I've been able to keep pace with my buddy who always tries new supplements. For example, we each lift about the same % of our body weight (around 115-120% regularly, 130-140% max)

Not being disrespectful. Telling me not to do steroids is not addressing the op. I realize that it is a pro hormone, let me in on the side effects cause I cant seem to find them anywhere. Its prob a moot point anyway cause I decided not to get them.

AMS 1AD and 4AD are severely underdosed and trying to play off of the original's from Ergopharm. The original 1AD was a diol, these are diones, which means they have two conversion to take place from 1AD to 1-test instead of 1. Patrick Arnold (PA) is coming out with a new 1AD in April and it will probably be AMS's with some goodies to help conversion.

Anyway all of these products are for advanced users, and no one here should use them if they are still taking cell-tech, or if you have no idea between the difference of a diol and dione and what the 17 double bond does.

For those that do, AMS's products get okay reviews, but IMO something like an Epi clone would give better dryer results as of the market now.
