anyone use Amazon for Cell phones??

Ok, i was thinking of getting my wife a Razr, seen that cingular actually dropped the price to $29.99 after a $50 MIR. Which is pretty good, but amazon has it for $.01 which in my opinion is a better deal. ^_^

I am eligible for an upgrade (Cingular) but when i select the phone, you have to select your plan, it gives me 1-6 all being single contracts. I have the family plan, and am actually wanting to add an additional 2 lines to it, is there ANYWAY to do get the phones thru amazon when you're on a family plan???

no, you can look, it has an option for 'existing' customers as well...which is the area i'm having troubles with.

I just did an "upgrade" and got the Blackjack from Cingular. Free 2 day shipping right now too without PRIME.

4 things about ordering from Amazon: If you get a plan with the phone(s), you have to get a 2 year contract. If you buy a pda/smartphone, you have to get a data plan. You almost always have to deal with a rebate. They have some of the best prices around.

go to chinese cellphone stores.. usually they have a MUCH better deal (think of getting the phone for free plus actual cash)
