Anyone use a non free (i.e, not AOL, trillian, MSN) instant messaging program at work?

What do you use for inter-office messaging? What are the pros and cons?

Here's what I can think of.

Pros of interoffice:

No viruses
No using it to communicate w/ friends and family

Cons:

Customers can't use it to communicate back and forth
