Well I recently got a brand new Abit KA7 from a site, I?ve read alot of reviews and it looks like a nice board. So I was wondering what you guys thought about it? And you experiences with it.

Thanks,

Russ

Seems pretty good, at least amongst the KT133 chipset-based boards, had a few issues with the onboard HiPoint junk, just be sure you flash your bios and install the latest HiPoint drivers. Personally I have major issues with VIA-chipsets and HiPoint controllers and wouldn't want one in my system.

It is great, I had one but gave it to by dad a while ago. It is tricky but if you have good hardware it will work great. It can take Athlon Slota classic 500 to 1ghz and socket/slot a tbird up to 800mhz.

I would suggest changing that to "up to 700mhz", I have a SlotA 800mhz TBird,
& no way could I get that 2 work with my KA7...
