I removed CS from my PC last night--I was playing too much and programming too little.

well i bought a complete package, comes with cs hl team and all that from a guy at the FS/FT, besides dont you need like a unique cd-key to play?

The VroLok, you mean if you have a Half Life CD key, you don't need one for CS? I have Booth in retail version.

Right. I've had HL since it came out, I just DL'd CS and you don't need a key. CS wasn't originally intended to be sold, it was just a MOD for HL so it's still a free download and doesn't require it's own key. I guess it just got really popular and the DL got big enough (CS 1.0 is 83 megs) that they figured they could make some cash off it. Man, wonder how much cash they could have made of of Team Fortress for Quake I if they sold it for a small price?

I don't remember who showed up at Neo's when I was there ([at]amb ?) but my little boy was hitting all the keys and that's why I left real quick like. I was just showing him how his Dad ran around and shot things and didn't think anyone would be there at 11am.
