This reminds me of what happens to most people who win the lottery - they go bankrupt. Why? They thought they could afford a really nice house and paid cash for it. When it came time to pay to heat/AC/property taxes/maintanence/clean they had no money left. Moral of the story - they couldn't really afford the house. >>
Well, here's the deal: I can afford to pay up to $800 a month on lease/loan + insurance. However, instead of paying 600 for the car and 200 for insurance (which would give me a pretty sweet ride), I'm limited to $400 car and $400 insurance. And that isn't even a sports car. Just for comparison, my father is paying $500 on car payments and $100 insurance. Either way, I'm looking around in hopes of finding something better.
