Talk about a dead site, got 172k at about 5k a second before it totally died. Have to try the link late at night or something.
Thanks.

I wouldn't run a Service Pack until it's been in the field a while with no major problems.

Hmm, it died before on me but I was only getting 5-6k. Then when I restarted it it's been at a constant 595kbps

downloaded yesterday at a 400-500 kb/s range around 4PM PST. installed it, made my system run a lil sluggish and slow on boot-up's, uninstalled. seems to have some neat improvements, but i think ill wait until the final release.

nah, installed fine. actually, their service utility that monitors the firewall, anti-virus and windows update couldn't find my anti-virus software (avg), but i hear it cant find norton either, so its a feature they havent quite fully added capability for. but it isnt a big deal, and doesnt effect the os. the wireless network utility is a little bit more improved, showing available networks and having bars showing the strength of the different wireless networks. software didnt have a problem opening, no conflicts or anything.

Pop-up blocker, blocks those Install-on-Demand screens, much better firewall, better Windows Update.

This is not beta. It is a release quality build, that's why it's called RC1 (Release Candidate).
