anyone try Windows.Net Server 2003?

basically its the new win2k pro, and i likes it 🙂

It looks like it will be a decent server OS... but you'd have to be a moron to use it as a desktop (no 3d, no sound, at least not by default 😉). Personally, I still think it isn't stripped enough for a "real" server (what server needs support for TWAIN????) but I didn't have any problems with the first beta.

Stability and less bugs cause they worked on it a lot longer then Windows XP, Microsoft really wants Windows Server 2003 to be the best it can so they are putting the extra effort into it.

No, it's NOT the 'new win2k pro'. That was XP pro, this is the next in the server line. It's the upgrade from Win2k SERVER.

Interesting idea. You had stability problems with XP / 2k (the "normal" versions)? Are you sure it isn't a hardware problem?

I've had no problems with Windows XP.......................microsoft is working longer and harder on Windows XP Server 2003, according to them they want it to be the most stable and bug free OS that they have put out. If Windows XP is good then there trying to make Windows XP Server 2003 even better.
