Its not that, its that I dont like being around people who drink and finding a roomate who doesnt drink is hard. My roomate last year was also like this but she wasnt rude and obnoxious like these 2. I can put up with the drinking to an extent but being treated rudely i cannot.

Man oh man. You are so missing out on life. You are only young once. You will be able to work hard all your life, but you will only be able to live the college life for a few years.

I have to drink to enjoy my life? How sad

You're lame.

Look, the other guys are right. Don't break contract. YOu'll be missing out on a huge part of your college life. Let me guess. First year? Second year? SUre I had my fair share of problems with my roommates in my first year. Hell I didn't even like them. We were still chill and I could at least ignore some of those problems. They aren't my best friends and aren't exactly close friends either, but at least they're friends...

Second year? I have one son of a b!tch roommate. I punched him the other day and threw all his crap out of the closet for being an asshole, and he still doens't get it. (if you want to know about all his problems, sure I can go and rant)... But still, my other roommates (we live in an apartment now) are ok and at least cool to talk to, but I know I don't really belong in this group because they will never be close friends.

And what do I do? I live here, because its great to study. No one makes noise, and it's a good place to stay at. For friends? Social activities? I go out. I leave my apartment. I was gone Friday, Saturday for basically most of the day while my 3 other roommates stayed home and did hell knows what. Go make friends outside, hang out with the people you WANT to hang out with, but don't leave your roommates simply cuz you can't get along with them too well.

Hell last year I got to drink a lot more than I probably wanted to, but hey.. no regrets. It was fun. Sure there were ups and downs, but I say it was worth it.. that 1 year in the dorms with some lame jackasses that will probably be dropping out of school sometime soon.

Rule 1: never live with friends.

Rule 2: never live with women.

Rule 3: don't get a pet, or you'll get stuck in living situations you won't enjoy.

Rule 4: refer to rule 2 over and over again until it really sinks in.

pharm d? you mean your in pharmacy school or trying to get into pharmacy school? if your in pharmacy school then i understand as in your class load is insanely impossible to manage sometimes. if your a freshman who's a pre-pharm d, which by the way = pre-bio, then suck it up and get over it.

Hey. I paid $1001 per month to live in the dorms. That's $10,010. Now given that money is not a problem for my family, I could live there or move out. But guess what? Rent here is a b!Tch too, so I'm paying $2250 for a 2 bedroom apt now. Divide that 4 way you have $562. Given that I only cook once in a while, you can make that about $800/month to live. $1001 * 10 = $10010, but $800 * 12 = $9600. I'm only saving $400.

Now for what? I'm saving $400 so I can waste my time cleaning my room, the whole apartment, cooking, and living with 4 people. I can't look down the hall and say hey wanna go eat? I can't open my door during the day and people will stop by. I need to use my cell to make calls or receive calls to go hang out with people.

Dorm experience was awesome. Maybe I won't want to live through that all 4 years, but I definitely could've lived my 2nd year int eh dorms again.
